Sunday afternoon naps

What's better than coming home from church and realizing there is nothing to be done? So what else is there to do but take a nap? OK!

This is so cute! Little Caesar always does this! But only on the tile. What the? Haha how comfier can it get by scratching at it? Then he decides it's good enough and plops himself down. Nap time it is.

Spoiled.

My puppies are just a little bit spoiled ok. Due to the fact that these are as close as it's gonna get for grandchildren right now for my mom, she'll take what she can get. And since our puppies are her grand babies she has the right to spoil them. Here's what we found and she bought on our adventure to the Swap Meet on Saturday for the babies...

And the results...

2 unhappy puppies.

How stinkin' cute is that! Haha, they were not happy about their gifts from grandma. But they were good long enough for us to quickly take a picture! Sweet babies.

This is one cool dude!

Mr. Caesar eventually gave up on try to take his shades off.  All in all they will get use to us dressing them up. Curtis already mentioned that they will need bunny ears for Easter.

Sumer time already?? OK!

It's hot outside people! You get in your car and you instantly start sweating. Awesome. And it's only the middle of March. I started wearing shorts last week. I'm actually very excited for summer this year. I can't wait to get out by the pool and swim! And go to the beach! No more bundling up to go out. It's shorts and flip flops now my friends. And the AC is still not quite needed yet, well... for us apartment renters. Curtis and I leave our patio door open at night, plus the puppies love to go in and out, in and out. They love it outside. I love living in good ol' Arizona. I think I'll take the heat over freezing cold temperatures any day!

All is quiet on the home front.

How I love a sleeping puppy. (2 in our case especially) It means I finally get a break to sit on the couch and get on the computer to catch up on Glee or browse  through facebook. My constant "life-guarding" slowly comes to a stop as the puppies realize they are in fact tired. The yelling stops too. No more "Off!" or "OUTSIDE!" as they start to circle and sniff. They make their way to the water dish and drink half of it, because they are all out of breath from running from one end of the apartment to the other. They'll find a cool spot on the tile right where it meets the carpet and lay down with the carpet being their pillow.  After they are asleep Curtis and I carefully make our way around the apartment so we don't wake them. And all is calm.

We love our babies. But they sure are a lot of work. We are still working on "the bathroom is outside and not on the carpet" concept. It's a constant battle. And one day (soon!) we hope to win. I think this has been the only time I have ever seen Curtis lose his patience. He does have a weakness!! Hah hah hah! I think he's gonna be one of those dads that when he is mad, he is mad. And tomorrow it starts all over... so goodnight!

Full House

Look at that face... This is little Caesar. He likes to cuddle up with a stuffed animal. The hair on his head stands up, and will not stay down. He usually keeps to himself, until a mischievous KC comes along and interrupts. He likes to lay on his belly on the cool tile floor. Whenever he decides, and you never know when, he'll plop to the floor and decide to take a quick nap. He likes to look at himself in the mirror, because he knows he is oh so cute. When he drinks from his dish most of it ends up on his furry face and then half of that ends up on your foot. He's not one for kisses but he'll give you a few love bites. And he loves to cuddle up with his sister, KC. Mr. Caesar is a lover.

Miss KC on the other hand... Is always on the go. New things are only interesting to her for about 2 minutes and she moves on to the next. She loves to play fetch with her squeaky fish and is very good at it. She is very nosey.  When she hears her kibble hit the bowl she gets very excited to eat and she'll let you know it. Food is her favorite and will even sit for a snack. She'll chase little Caesar around the apartment (inside and out) until Caesar has had enough and turns on her. KC loves to kiss your face and her bites are not so nice. Sleeping under the couch is ideal for her or next to her brother. And she does not like car rides. Miss KC is a fighter.

Picnic

I love Saturdays. Curtis and I both don't work and I just love hanging out with him! We planned a picnic last Saturday. Packed up a lunch, blanket and the puppy and drove off to Fountain Hills Park! It was a perfect day. A little chilly but bearable. I loved it. KC did a good job on her leash as we walked around. She sure made plenty of friends! I love my little family.

Little KC tired from walking all day.

Curtis has high hopes for KC.

My loves.
